30 Day Shred - LET'S DO THIS!


Today, on the 4th August 2012, I hereby pledge to put myself through hell for 30 days with the help of this DVD. Now, if you haven't heard of this fitness regime, then you're incredibly lucky and you need to run away this instance but if you have then you'll know how much pain I'm going to be in. I have already done day 1 and my legs are burrrrrrrrrning! The founder of this workout is Jillian Michaels, one of the trainers on America's The Biggest Loser (something I do watch every season!) and she is TOUGH and you can see it through this. The workout consists of a 20 minute workout:

- One 2 minute warm-up
- Three 6 minute circuits ft. Jillian's 3-2-1 interval system:
> 3 minutes strength 
> 2 minutes cardio
> 1 minute of abs
& a one 2 minute cool down

This workout is HARD. I am not going to lie, and there are 3 different work outs on this DVD: 1, 2 and 3 so I will be progressing every 10 days hoping my fitness levels really do shoot up! 

Along with this, I thought I'd follow in Sophia's and Sandra's footsteps and do a little weight loss journey on my blog. This way, I'll have to be motivated and hopefully I can motivate someone else as well :) Tomorrow I will put up all of my measurements, and my weight and I am aiming to lose around 40 pounds. I'll do a weekly weigh in on here and I hope you like this little addition to my blog!

  2. I've been trying to lose weight for a while. I even resorted to buying a Kim Kardashian workout DVD (!) but I have never heard of this one... Good luck with it! Im interested to know if it works!

    1. I hope it works for me :) it says you can lose up to 20lbs in 30 days but I don't think it'll be that much for myself! Thank you for the luck, and good luck to yourself :D xxx

  6. I do this workout! It's so incredible, you start to notice a difference in your fitness so quickly :) It didn't do as much for my actual tone as the Tracey Anderson Mat Workout did, but it is really good :)
